When Ray and Ashlee Hall, two self-described diehard Tulsa "midtowners," met and got married, they never dreamed they would someday own 112 acres 30 minutes outside of Tulsa and be able to help others by following their passion of hosting events. Ray first discovered the listing, then the two hiked the rugged and wooded property on a snowy February day in 2021 along with their three children and dogs. Immediately upon arriving at one of the frozen creek beds, they looked around in awe, glanced at each other, and quickly realized what the property could mean for them, their family, and others with whom they would eventually share the property through these events.

Ray and Ashlee have always had servants' hearts. From the beginning, they have looked for ways they can share the gift of this beautiful space with others. Once they purchased the property, despite some not quite seeing the vision, Ray went to work building trails within a few months.

First, he and a friend hiked the property for at least two months, using a terrain app and flags to map out the route for what would soon become some of the most beautiful and high-quality single-track trails in the region. In order to see their vision come to life, Ray and Ashlee also had to do quite a bit of tree clearing and excavation, moving boulders and sandstone, mapping out a road to provide access from the county road, figuring out the best places to have creek crossings, and the actual work of trail clearing, building, and maintenance. As Ashlee points out, Ray (along with some help from a few friends) did all of the heavy lifting, including turning an excavator on its side at one point. Those same friends were thankfully present to help Ray right the wrong that day, for which he (and Ashlee) will be forever grateful.

Ray and Ashlee plan to continue sharing this slice of paradise with others and find ways to give back to the community through their events. They hope that with each visit to the property, guests are blessed with the overwhelming peace and wonder that this place has provided for them from the day of that first hike. Stay tuned.
